Our barbecue lodges have to be seen to be fully appreciated – they are surprisingly spacious inside, due to the unique sloping sided design and come complete with a range of authentic Lappish decoration, including reindeer skins.

We have a Reindeer model in active use on our farm in Somerset and welcome visitors who wish to sample an authentic Scandinavian cooking lodge. Call us to arrange a visit, or come along to one of our open days.

The barbecue in the centre of the bbq house has grills at different levels to achieve perfect culinary results. An alternative is to cook in pan or pot – ideal for stews or curries. See our recipes for some bbq recipe ideas including authentic Finnish dishes.
